“We chose Badges And Medals because their price-to-quality ratio is exceptional. I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone.”

Increased medal quality

While exploring other suppliers, Helm considered importing directly from China due to the quick turnaround. However, the low quality of the products, which he rated a mere 3 out of 10, was a deal-breaker. “Despite the fast delivery, the quality was horrific,” Helm explained. “Paying AUD$8 to AUD$9 a medal for subpar craftsmanship wasn’t a sustainable option for us.”

Badges And Medals had a better price-to-quality ratio, he said. Their products were “a solid 10 out of 10 from me”.

Great customer service

What ultimately sealed the deal, though, was Helm’s meeting with Badges And Medals’ chief executive officer, Hamish Larsen. “Meeting face-to-face with Hamish made all the difference,” Helm said. “It gave us the assurance that we were dealing with a team committed to good customer service and truly understanding our needs.”

He said since then, he hasn’t been disappointed. “Their customer service and responsiveness has been great. Every interaction has reinforced our confidence in their ability to deliver.”

What would they change?

“Nothing! Badges And Medals satisfied all of our requirements.”
